The impacts of psychological contract fulfilment on affective commitment and citizenship behavior: The case of students at University of Finance – Marketing

Abstract

The research was aimed at investigating the relationships of psychological contract fulfilment, affective commitment and student citizenship behavior in classroom. Data was collected from 231 students studying at Faculty of Tourism, University of Finance – Marketing. The research results highlighted that perceptions of fulfilling psychological contract will impact students’ affective commitment, which inturn affects their citizenship behaviors in terms of involvement, affiliation, and courtesy. Surprisingly, psychological contract fulfilment was found to have no direct influence on students’ citizenship behaviors.
